Mrs. Pineda brings over 26 years of dedicated medical experience, including 15+ years specializing in EMS and disaster response. As a Trauma Certified Registered Nurse and years of disaster and CBRNE training, she has deployed nationally with United States Disaster Medical Assistance Teams for major hurricanes and mass casualty incidents.
With extensive training alongside U.S. Military, SWAT, EMS, and Fire agencies, Mrs. Pineda is passionate about bridging the gap between education and practical application to elevate patient care in high-stakes environments. She leads groundbreaking initiatives like the SPARC Academy and serves as President of Florida Trauma Centers, Board Member for the Florida Committee on Trauma, and appointed member of the Broward EMS Council.
An accomplished course coordinator and director for Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP), and Stop the Bleed (STB), Mrs. Pineda is a recognized leader committed to advancing trauma care, prehospital education, and injury prevention at the local, state, and national levels.
